Mission Statement
Ideajuice Studios is dedicated to producing world class works of machinima using the most
advanced techniques available both off the shelf, and developed in house. Our work proceeds from the
notion that VR needs to adapt to the needs of filmmakers, and not the other way around.
Mission Goals
Our goal is to advance the art of the machinima in any way that presents itself. If we can
improve the technology used for making machinima, we will. If we can introduce new audiences to the
art, we will. If we can help educate people on how to make them, we will. Machinima is here to stay,
and like the rest of the internet, it will change forever how media and the information, opinions,
and emotions it carries is made.
Mission Strategy
We believe that the end justifies the means, and we blend footage from multiple VR platforms
to acheive results that cannot be acheived using one platform alone. Real world filmmakers don't
sacrifice their vision of what a film should be simply because a particular camera
or lens can't give them the shot they need. They use a different technology that will give them
the results they need, and so do we.
Our experience with online virtual reality includes Adobe Atmosphere, Active Worlds, There
and Second Life as well as desktop game engines such as Torque Game Engine, Torque Game Engine Advanced,
DarkBasic, Flash and DX Studio. Coupled with other 3D and video content creation tools like 3D Studio Max,
iClone, Adobe Premiere, and too many others to mention, we have the tools and expertise to custom
build anything from terrains and landscapes to custom avatars and gestures.
Our in house expertise also allows us to develop special purpose solutions ranging from
specially built VR browsers or bots for in world acting and directing to custom built scripted
props and camera/actor control systems.
We are also serious about raising the bar when it comes to producing widely useable media
content using machinima. We understand the importance of clearing copyrighted materials and
*documenting* our sources so that broadcasters can rest easy using our productions on the air.
