Now Playing
I Gave @ the Office
Written and directed by Z. Sharon Glantz, I Gave @ the Office is a one act play
that was performed live in Second Life and recorded multiple times in order to produce a
machinima with a running time of 54 minutes.
Featuring a cast of veteran SL performers, and sets built by award winning 3D artists and
scripters, the play takes us inside the mind of Sonia Starguardia as she struggles with the realization
that her life has become centered her work. An invitation to her 20th high school reunion jars her from
her apathy, and a psychotic episode with her office machines sets her back on the right path.
I Gave @ the Office was written in 2001 and received it's first public reading in Seattle WA.
Sponsored by the ACT (A Community Theater) initiative in Seattle, the play has undergone many rewrites before
the virtual reality adaptation.
Due to the nature of the aforementioned psychotic episode with the office machines, the play
translates very well for performance in virtual reality. Sonias office machines come alive and challenge
her as the personas of her co workers. Rekka Berchot and OhMy Shalala spent many hours designing the sets
and props as well as the scripts to control them during the performance. The result is a hilarious and
surreal vision of an office gone mad.

White Roses
White Roses is a script written by Rafale Kamachi. Rafale is a real life writer and has written
several screenplays that have been produced by independent filmmakers. The rights to produce a machinima
from the White Roses script have been assigned to Harvey Machinima by Rafale, and Ideajuice Studios is
co producing the work under the direction of Chantal Harvey.
White Roses is a complex, dark and creepy story about a family with a very twisted sense of
love for one another. Through the eyes of a detective searching for a missing girl, we see the darker side
of the streets, and through the eyes of a missing girl, we see the poignant, but frightening world of
the people who have abducted her.
The suspense within the story line will grip anyone who watches, and the visual mood and set
design is sure to give you goosebumps. Not to be missed!

Transhuman
Transhuman is an original script written in house to accompany an original song
written by lizSolo Mathilde. The song tells of an artist, trapped in a small dying town, who
yearns for an audience for the music within her. The local residents just want to hear the same
old music and she is withering away artistically with no audience to listen to her new music.
She discovers a new outlet for her creativity however, and in the process transcends her
humanity and journeys to a new place where there is an audience for the music within her.

The Golden Age of Machinima
Live performance on the internet is here to stay, but the people who do it at this point
are still very much pioneers. This drama explores the emergine live web-arts by drawing parallels between
what is happening now with the internet, and what happened in the 1930s when performers had to find ways
to bring entertainment to an audio only medium - radio.
This script is being developed in house by Ideajuice Studios with assistance from some of the
best live performing artists in virtual reality. Intended to not only entertain an audience already
familiar with online worlds and virtual reality, but also to educate and entertain people who have
never experience a virtual world themselves, this machinima will not only entertain, but inform people
about the unique challenges faced by the pioneers who are creating a new golden age of entertainment.
